The Tyler Civic Theatre management is dedicated to providing an exciting and memorable guest experience while ensuring the safety and security of all Guests. The following policies set forth certain rules for attending any The Civic Theatre event. These policies apply to all guests. Guests who violate any of the policies will be escorted out of the theatre. Additionally, The Tyler Civic Theatre reserves the right to suspend ticket privileges for guests who do not comply with these event policies.

Accessibility

Accessible seating is also available in person at The Tyler Civic Theatre box office. Handicap parking is located in front of Rogers Theatre (first come first serve). More  Handicap parking is available in front of the Rose Garden Center. There is a handicap accessible ramp (front of the venue on the both sides) that can be used for easy entry into the venue. Please see staff or volunteer upon arrival if you need special assistance.

Aisles

For safety and as a courtesy to other guests, aisles and seating walkways must be kept clear at all times.

Box Office

The Tyler Civic Theatre box office is open Monday - Friday 10am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm (and Saturdays 2pm-5pm - on show weekends only.)  The box office is also open 40 minutes prior to Curtain for all performances. Please call  (903) 592-0561 for specific details. Tickets may be purchased with MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and cash. If you arrive after a show has begun, please wait to be seated.

Standard service charges may apply.

Cameras/Photography

No commercial or flash photography of any kind is permitted. Camcorders or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited unless authorized by The Tyler Civic Theatre.

Code of Conduct

The Tyler Civic Theatre is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Guests have a right to expect an environment where:

  • Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all venue personnel.
  • Guests will enjoy every event free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
  • Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the stage will be immediately ejected from the theatre
  • Guests will not smoke inside the venue. There are designated smoking areas.
  • There will not be any obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing.
  • Guests will comply with requests from venue staff regarding facility operations and emergency response procedures.
  • Guests will also be responsible for their own good time by reporting inappropriate behavior.

The Tyler Civic Theatre staff has been trained to intervene when deemed necessary and to use their best discretion to help ensure that guests who ignore the Code of Conduct do not interfere with other guests' ability to enjoy an event. Guests who violate the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund and, to the extent their conduct constitutes a violation of law, may be subject to arrest. We thank you for your cooperation.

CONCESSIONS

There is a 10 to 15 minute intermission during 2 or more hours shows. The Concession stand will have light snacks and beverages available for purchase during that time. We do ask all guests to refrain from taking food or drinks back into the seating and stage area.

Door Opening

Doors open for performances 40 minutes prior to Curtain.  Times do vary sometimes based on start time of a show and weather. Call box office for accurate times. If you arrive when show has begun, please wait to be seated.

Parking

Parking is currently available in the parking lot in front of the Rose Garden Center, along the street on Fair Park Drive (in front of the East Texas State Fair buildings), and in the W. T. Brookshire Convention Center parking lot.  Additional parking may be found along Houston Street and in both the Mike Carter Field and Rose Stadium lots.  (Parking in front of the Theatre is Handicapped Reserved.)

Refund Policy

Tickets are Non-refundable. Please let us know if you are unable to attend an upcoming ticketed performance. We will happily exchange your tickets for the same event on another date and for a different event (at the same value) with at least 24 hours notice.  We want you to enjoy the show!

Seating

Seating in the Braithwaite Theatre is a combination of Reserved Seating (with seats being chosen at the time of purchase) and General Admission (with seats being chosen upon arrival.)  Shows in the Rogers theatre remain General Admission, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a show has sold out, we ask ticket holders to not hold seats. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of Front of House staff during an appropriate break in the action.  If deemed too disruptive to the performance, those arriving late may not be seated until Intermission.

SHOW TIMES

Unless otherwise noted, performances on Thursday,Friday, and Saturday evenings begin at 7:30 PM.  Sunday matinees begin at 2:30 PM.

Tickets

Tickets for upcoming shows are available to purchase online at tylercivictheatre.com or at Box office (call 903-592- 0561or walk in). You can find ticket prices and seat availability through selecting the Buy Tickets buttons on our website. Tickets are also available at the Tyler Civic Theatre box office on the night/day of the show. Call box office to see availability of tickets for the specific date.

Ticket Fees

Please note that additional fees apply to online purchases through our official ticketing partner, Tickets to the City, or at our Box Office when using credit/debit cards.  Box Office purchases paid for by check or cash have no additional fees.

VALET PARKING

Valet Parking is available Friday and Saturday evenings during Season productions.

Will Call

Please bring a Photo ID, the credit card used for your purchase, and/or confirmation number when picking tickets up at Will Call.  In some cases, Will Call tickets may only be picked up on the day of an event.
