John Woods selected William Douglas-Home's The Kingfisher as his final play to direct as resident director of the Braithwaite Theatre. John will also play one of the three roles, with Felicity Enas and Roger Pharr as his fellow cast members. The Kingfisher tells the story of love re-kindled.
 
Steve Copas and Lea Holland are the producers. The show will open for eight performances on Friday, May 14. Plan to see it and to stay briefly after curtain to wish John well in his retirement.
